Ambassador of Belarus V.Markovich presented copies of his Letters of Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs

On 23 October, 2018 the Ambassador-designate of Belarus to Latvia Vasily Markovich presented copies of his Letters of Credentials to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Edgars Rinkēvičs.

During the meeting the parties discussed the current state and perspectives of bilateral cooperation. They underlined the importance of continuing the practice of regular contacts between the Foreign Ministries, which allow discussing the topical issues on the agenda, promote the development of bilateral interaction at all levels, and contribute to strengthening trust and mutual understanding.
 
The parties noted with satisfaction the intensive political dialogue and economic cooperation, and expressed hope for its extension.
