Deputy Foreign Minister V.Rybakov participates in a ceremony of planting a tree dedicated to the launch of the initiative “Inclusive Belarus: leaving no one behind in achieving the Sustainable development goals”

On 24 October 2016 Deputy Minister of foreign affairs of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Valentin Rybakov participates in a solemn ceremony of planting the tree in Loshitsky Park in the city of Minsk dedicated to the launch of the initiative “Inclusive Belarus: leaving no one behind in achieving the Sustainable development goals”.



The United Nations Resident Coordinator in Belarus, high representative of Minsk city executive committee, as well as representatives of diplomatic corps and international organisations in the Republic of Belarus.

In his statement Deputy Minister highlights the importance of uniting efforts of all stakeholders in order to achieve the Sustainable development goals, endorsed be the heads of states in the UN headquarters in New York in September 2015.

The initiative Inclusive Belarus gives a symbolical impetus for the implementation of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework for the Republic of Belarus for 2016-2020”, stated Valentin Rybakov. He also reaffirm the Belarus’ adherence to the strengthening of further close cooperation with the UN in achieving the Sustainable development goals.



Deputy Minister of foreign affairs has congratulated the UN country team, as well as all the participants of the solemn ceremony with the UN Day, which is celebrated on the 24th of October.
