Ambassador of Belarus V.Goshin meets the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam

On October 19, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Vietnam, Vladimir Goshin, met with the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Nguyen Ngoc Thien.

The sides discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation in the field of culture, mutual participation in sport events that are held on the territory of the two countries, as well as the intensification of work in the sphere of the increase of tourist’s quantity in both directions.

The organization of exchange Days of culture was discussed: in 2017 – the Days of Belarussian culture in Vietnam and in 2018 – the Days of Vietnamese culture in Belarus, as well as the possibility of organizing joint event dedicated to the 25th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Vietnam.

In addition, the Vietnamese side was handed over for possible participation an updated list of sport events, scheduled on the territory of Belarus until the end of the year 2016.

V.Goshin also suggested the possibility of training Vietnamese citizens at the Belarusian State University of Physical Education for the training of athletes and coaches in Olympic sports.
