Statement by the Press-Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus in connection with terrorist attacks in Syria
23 May 2016Belarus strongly condemns the series of terrorist attacks committed on May 23 in the coastal areas of Syria that led to a large number of innocent victims. We are convinced that the fight against terrorists, who do not have any moral principles and boundaries, should be continued in the strongest possible terms. In Syria, located at the forefront of the war on terror, international efforts should be concentrated in a special way and coordinated for the purposes of an early end of the violence and ensuring of a political settlement. We express our sincere condolences to the families and relatives of those killed and wish a speedy recovery to those injured.
