The signing of the Agreement of Belarus' participation in the International specialized “EXPO-2017” exhibition

On September 5, 2016 in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus took place the ceremony of signing of the Agreement on participation of the Republic of Belarus in the International specialized exhibition “EXPO-2017” in Astana. The agreement was signed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Andrei Yeudachenka, who is also the Commissioner of the Belarusian national section on the “EXPO-2017”, and by Commissioner of “EXPO-2017” Rapil Zhoshybayev.



Agreement on participation formally establishes the right of Belarus to participate in the exhibition, which will take place from June 10 to September 10, 2017 in Astana. Belarus became the 71 state, which has signed the treaty. In total, more than 100 countries and international organizations are expected to participate in the exhibition.

During the meeting of A.
Yeudachenka and R.Zhoshybaev the parties discussed the issues of preparation for the exhibition, the equipment of the Belarusian pavilion at “Expo-2017”, taking into account the widest possible exposure of Belarusian products, technologies and services.
