Opportunities of trade and economic cooperation with Belarus were presented in Hungary

The presentation of opportunities of trade and economic cooperation with Belarus was held on 14 October 2016 in the cultural and historical complex “Vigadó Hall” by the Embassy of Belarus in Hungary together with the Hungarian-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and the European Chambers of Commerce.

The event was attended by over 40 representatives of the Hungarian business community, including members of the Hungarian National Trading House, business associations, chambers of commerce, banking and retail sectors.

Ambassador of Belarus Alexander Khainouski presented information on export and investment opportunities of our country, perspectives of development of Belarusian-Hungarian trade and economic cooperation, on possibilities of doing business in our country, taking into account existing preferential regimes and the creation of the Eurasian Economic Union. The Investment Agent of Belarus in Hungary Mr. Jenö Faller pointed out on the huge potential of investment cooperation and appraised positively the investment climate in Belarus.

During the event, a presentation of the products of JV “Santa Bremor” was organized and samples of alcoholic beverage and confectionery products of Belarusian enterprises were presented as well as information materials on tourism, export and investment opportunities in Belarus.

Within the framework of the event meetings with the interested Hungarian companies were held to promote Belarusian products on the Hungarian market.
