Belarusian Publishing Houses Participated in the Baltic Book Fair
28 February 2006Belarusian publishing houses presented about 300 exhibits at the Baltic Book Fair which was held on February 23-26 in Vilnius. Books, cartographic products and printed editions were exhibited at the Belarusian booth.
Among the Belarusian exhibitors were the biggest state publishing houses “Belarus”, “Belarusian Petrus Brouka Encyclopedia”, “Publishing House “Belarusian Science”, “Vysheishaya Shkola”, “Mastatskaya Litaratura”, “Narodnaya Asveta”, the unitary company “Belkartografia”, Minsk color printing factory, the publishing house “Aversev” and the Belsoyuzpechat association companies.
369 publishing and book trading companies from Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia and 11 other states took part in the fair.
Over 200 actions, forums and seminars were conducted within the framework of the exhibition and were attended by specialists and writers from 28 states.
