The Senior Staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus meet the Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Michael Linhart

On February 10 2016, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, held a meeting with the Secretary-General of Foreign Affairs of Austria, Michael Lindhart.

The sides discussed the current state of Belarus-Austria relations, as well as relations between Belarus and the EU. Special attention was paid to the prospects for enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the areas of mutual interest, following the opening of the Embassy of Austria held yesterday in Minsk.

Concrete steps and events aimed at further development of cooperation between Belarus and Austria in political, trade, economic and investment areas were also discussed during the meeting of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Alena Kupchyna, with Michael Linhart.
