Ambassador of Belarus I.Petrishenko meets the State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia

On September 14, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation, Igor Petrishenko, met with the State Secretary — Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Grigory Karasin.

The sides discussed a wide agenda of Belarus-Russia relations, including cooperation in the political, economic and humanitarian spheres, cooperation between the Foreign Ministries, and schedule of joint activities for 2016-2017.

During the meeting, the parties also exchanged opinions on parliamentary elections in Belarus and Russia, and some topical issues of the development of the situation in the region.
