On February 3, 2017 the exchange of notes between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary (on February 4, 2017) of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries took place.
The note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus reflects that the peoples of Belarus and Norway share a common understanding of the major issues of our time, such as maintaining peace and stability on the continent and around the world which is a solid foundation for further development of the Belarusian-Norwegian political dialogue.
The note of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway reaffirms the commitment of the Norwegian side to continue constructive development of bilateral relations with Belarus on the basis of shared interests and mutual benefit.
