The week of the diplomatic broadcasting dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Korea will be held by the Belarusian National State Broadcasting Company and Korean channel “Arirang TV” on February, 13-17. This project was initiated by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea.
The week of the diplomatic broadcasting will start with the interview of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Korea Natalya Zhilevich and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea in the Republic of Belarus Kang Weon Sik.
TV-channels “Belarus 1”, “Belarus 2” and “Belarus 24” will show programs about traditional Korean culture, tourism and recreation, national cuisine. Special time will be given to the concert of Korean musical pop-culture “K-Pop”, which is becoming extremely popular all over the world.
“Arirang TV” will broadcast such programs as “Belarusian Land: review “, “Albarutenya: Skorina Code”, “The Story of One City: Minsk”, “A Treat from Polessie”, “The Land of Lakes”. Each program will be shown on the Korean TV-channel 4 times a day, including prime-time. Also the Korean television will broadcast a promo-film “Belarus: One Day in Life” and short videos created by Artiom Priadko for The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
The Belarusian and Korean broadcasting companies will also show stories about the Koreans in Belarus and the Belarusians in Korea.
