The Ambassador of Belarus A.Ostrovsky meets the Director General of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland

On March 9, 2016 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Finland, Alexander Ostrovsky, met with the Director General of the Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, Terhi Hakala.

The parties discussed the development of bilateral relations in the political sphere, the directions of the Belarus – EU interaction, as well as the issues of collaboration within international organizations.

Special attention was paid to the preparations of the consecutive round of the Belarusian-Finnish Inter-ministerial political consultations scheduled for June 2016 in Helsinki and 5th Belarusian-Finland Economic Forum (September 2016, Gomel).
