Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations

On January 30, 2018 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the European Commissioner for European Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations, Johannes Hahn, who is currently on a working visit to our country.

During the meeting, the sides discussed a wide range of issues of cooperation between Belarus and the European Union. The parties exchanged views on prospects for the development of political dialogue, Belarus’ participation in the EU Eastern Partnership Initiative, foreign investments promotion, reciprocal market access facilitation, utilization of EU financial assistance, as well as regional situation.
