On July 2, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Belarus' National Assembly Vadim Popov reported to President of the Republic of Belarus of the results of the recently completed session of the Parliament's Lower House. He informed the Head of the State of the bills adopted and the documents to be considered at the next session in autumn. The main objective of the upcoming session is to approve the budget for the next year, Vadim Popov said.
Alexander Lukashenko reiterated that the work pace in adopting bills, which is gained in the House of Representatives, must be preserved and inseparably linked with the quality of adopted documents. The President also noted that the bills adopted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus must comply not only with internal standards, but with international standards as well.
During the report, an agreement was confirmed on regular meetings between the President and deputies of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
