On May 13, 2021 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Mikalai Barysevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Sierra Leone to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus (non-resident), Mohamed Yongawo, on the occasion of the presentation of the copies of his Credentials.
During the meeting the Ambassador of Sierra Leone expressed interest in enhancing cooperation with the Republic of Belarus and noted education, agriculture and industry as priority areas.
The Deputy Minister confirmed readiness of the Belarusian side to provide comprehensive assistance to the development of interaction with Serra Leone, emphasized the importance of the Ambassador’s personal participation in the promotion of bilateral initiatives and wished him successful work in the Republic of Belarus.
