On October 29, 2024 the Belarusian-Russian inter-ministerial consultations on pan-European security issues were held in Minsk. At the talks the Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, the Russian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Alexander Grushko.
During the consultations, the sides had a thorough exchange of views on the issues of co-operation between Belarus and Russia within the OSCE, as well as relations with the European Union, other European regional organizations.
The parties emphasized the allied nature of the relations between the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation and agreed to closely co-ordinate their actions within the OSCE, including on the eve of the 31st meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Malta.
