On December 29, 2022 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yuri Ambrazevich, visited the State Institution “Psychoneurological Boarding Home for the Elderly and Disabled No.2 of Minsk” to hand over New Year gifts collected during the Charity Campaign #Разам organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs together with the foreign diplomatic corps.
Ministry of Foreign Affairs hold this New Year's charity for the third time as part of the Belarusian national campaign "Do good!". This year it is dedicated to the memory of the Foreign Minister Vladimir Makei.
Employees of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry, foreign diplomats, accredited in our country, in particular the Embassies of Armenia, Great Britain, Venezuela, Vietnam, Israel, India, Italy, Qatar, China, Cuba, Libya, UAE, Pakistan, Serbia, Syria, Slovakia, Sudan, Turkmenistan, Turkey, Sweden, South Korea, CIS Executive Committee, Honorary Consuls of Bangladesh, Greece, Zambia, Iceland, Thailand participated in this Charity Movement.
Addressing the management, employees and people permanently residing in the State Institution “Psychoneurological Boarding Home for the Elderly and Disabled No. 2 of Minsk”, Y.Ambrazevich emphasized that this sort of charity campaigns vividly demonstrates solidarity, a value deeply rooted in the Belarusian culture and identity.
“We hope that such charity movements without looking for publicity will always be a natural activity for all Belarusians, whether they are civil servants, representatives of other spheres or students,” – stressed Y.Ambrazevich.
The Deputy Minister expressed gratitude to the management and staff of the Boarding Home for the Elderly and Disabled for their indifferent attitude, sincere participation and involvement in helping and supporting people with special needs.
Earlier, within the framework of the republican campaign "Our Children", representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also visited and handed over gifts to the pupils of the Territorial Social Service Centre of the Moscow district.
