Alexander Yefremov’s new movie “Dunechka” will take part in the contest programme of the 13th open film festival among the CIS and Baltic States better known as “Kinoshok”. The festival is scheduled to be held on September 13-22 in Anapa.
According to the information given by the head of the Belarusian delegation to the festival, chair of the Belarusian actors guild Svetlana Sukhovei, Belarus will also take documentaries and video films to Anapa. Among them are “War” by Dmitriy Los, “Palette of memory”, by Alexander Karpov and “Mine” by Viktor Asliuk. The films will be presented by directors Alexander Yefremov and Alexander Karpov as well as by “War” leading actress Yanina Buiko. Svetlana Sukhovei will traditionally be member of the festival’s council. In her words, the festival promises to be rich in artistic meetings.
The culture ministry of Belarus renders organizational and financial assistance to the Belarusian delegation.
The Anapa film festival in one of the biggest festivals in Russia. Founded in 1992 as a vanguard film festival “Kinoshok” it then received an official status of open film festival of among the CIS and Baltic States. It is held every September.
