Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus I.Sekreta meets Ambassador of Kazakhstan

On 4 June 2026, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Igor Sekreta, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Belarus, Timur Zhaksylykov.

The parties discussed topical issues of cooperation within international organisations, in particular the UN and the International Labour Organisation, as well as matters of bilateral cooperation.

The sides paid particular attention to mutual support for the candidacies of Belarus and Kazakhstan to the elected bodies of the UN and other international organisations.

The parties emphasised the importance of coordinating efforts on the international stage with a view to strengthening the strategic partnership between the two countries.
