On June 15, President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko met with Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Leonid Kozik to receive his report.
Leonid Kozik informed the President of progress in implementing the projects and programs he is in charge of. Due to the fact that a number of trade union organizations proposed the candidature of Leonid Kozik for chairmanship of the Trade Union Federation of Belarus, the meeting also focused on the agenda of the upcoming plenary session of this Federation.
The Head of the State pointed out that Leonid Kozik has sufficient work experience in administrative and trade union structures to allow him successfully fulfill the functions laid on trade unions. Alexander Lukashenko underscored that the leaders of the country were interested in trade unions becoming a strong organization, one of the pillars of the state. The trade unions can always count on the support of the state and the President in their constructive activities, summed up the Belarusian leader.
