On August 22, 2013 Mr.Vladimir Makei, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, met with Mr.Alfredo Nieves Portuondo, Ambassador of Cuba to Belarus, on the occasion of finishing his diplomatic mission in Belarus.
The Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs marked the significant contribution of Mr.Alfredo Nieves Portuondo as the Ambassador of Cuba to Belarus into the development of Belarus-Cuba cooperation in trade, economic, scientific, technical and other spheres.
Mr.Vladimir Makei expressed deep gratitude to the Cuban diplomat for close interaction and fruitful cooperation in the development of Belarus-Cuba relations and marked that traditionally partner relations between Belarus and Cuba would favorably develop for the benefit of our fraternal peoples.
