On December 9, 2025 at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubayev.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the development of Belarusian–Kyrgyz cooperation, underscoring their mutual interest in further strengthening political interaction, expanding trade and economic ties, and advancing the practical implementation of the bilateral agenda.
Special attention was paid to cooperation in multilateral formats, including within the framework of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation. The Ministers reaffirmed the importance of coordinated efforts aimed at enhancing regional stability, improving the effectiveness of collective cooperation mechanisms, and promoting constructive initiatives that serve the interests of all member states.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic informed his Belarusian counterpart about the priority areas of Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship of the SCO Council of Heads of State in 2025-2026.
