Ambassador of Belarus E.Sobolevski meets Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt

On 21 May 2026, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Arab Republic of Egypt, Evgueni Sobolevski, met with the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt for European Affairs, Wael Hamed.

The parties noted with satisfaction the results of the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Egyptian Joint Trade Commission and the Belarusian-Egyptian Business Forum, held on 6–7 May 2026 in Minsk. They reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining the positive momentum of bilateral contacts.

The sides outlined plans to hold joint events in the near future involving foreign affairs and other authorities, as well as the parliaments of the two countries.
