Statement by the Press Service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus regarding the terrorist attacks in Egypt

Belarus strongly condemns the terrorist attacks on April 9, 2017 in the Egyptian cities of Tanta and Alexandria, which were resulted in death of dozens of civilians who celebrated the Christian holiday of Palm Sunday.

Belarus uncompromisingly opposes all forms of terrorism, extremism and religious radicalism and also consistently supports the efforts of national governments and the international community in the fight against any of their demonstrations.

We express our sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased and wish prompt recovery to the victims.
