On July 31, 2020 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the issues of developing bilateral cooperation, the schedule of official events for the current year, as well as preparations for the third Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Ukraine to be held on October 8-9, 2020 in the city of Grodno.
The approaches of the Belarusian side to ensure stability of the internal political situation in the Republic of Belarus and to strengthen control over the crossing of the state border by foreign citizens were brought up.
During the conversation Dmytro Kuleba informed about the results of the meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine in Lublin (the creation of the so-called “Lublin Triangle”), as well as the goals and objectives of this entity.
