In the interview to the newspaper “Magyar Nemzet” Ms.Alena Kupchyna marked that Belarus and Hungary understand each other. The two nations have similar mentality. Budapest, as well as Minsk, considers preserving its national identity and sovereignty to be a very important thing. Ms.Alena Kupchyna outlined that dialogue but not limitation of contacts is the foundation of the European solidarity. The Belarusian politician said that the next step to strengthen bilateral relations could be the exhibition of Hungarian culture in Belarus and the teaching the Hungarian language in Minsk University.
