Ambassador of Belarus A.Ogorodnikov meets the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan

On February 12, 2025 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Alexander Ogorodnikov, met with the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan, Asilbek Khudayarov.
The parties reviewed the current state and promising areas of cooperation between Belarus and Uzbekistan in the field of medicine and healthcare. In particular, they discussed the Uzbek side's study of advanced Belarusian experience in the field of maternal and child health, cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry, including the localization of production of Belarusian medicines in Uzbekistan.
Particular attention was paid to the completion of the Belarusian-Uzbek project to open a joint Center for Regenerative Medicine in Tashkent on the basis of the Republican Center for Blood Transfusion, which involves the creation of an innovative stem cell production facility.
