On August 9, 2022, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Sergei Aleinik received copies of credentials from Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar to the Republic of Belarus (from residence in Moscow) U Lwin Oo.

The parties discussed the current state and prospects of the development of the Belarusian-Myanmar relations, as well as interactions in international organizations.
