First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus S.Lukashevich meets the Ambassador of Uganda

On August 6, 2025 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Sergey Lukashevich, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda to the Republic of Belarus with residence in Moscow, Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige.
During the negotiations, the practical aspects of implementing the agreements reached during the visit of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus to Uganda in February 2025 were discussed. Particular attention was paid to measures to ensure economic benefits as soon as possible and to achieve tangible results of cooperation in the short term.
The parties agreed to intensify joint activities and exchange visits at various levels between Belarus and Uganda until the end of 2025, including visits by business delegations.
Minsk and Kampala confirmed their commitment to active cooperation on multilateral platforms, primarily at the UN, the Non-Aligned Movement and BRICS.
