Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets the Ambassador of Mexico

On September 11, 2024 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Yevgeny Shestakov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Mexican States to the Republic of Belarus, Eduardo Villegas Megías.
The parties discussed current issues on the bilateral agenda, as well as prospects for enhancing cooperation between Belarus and Mexico in areas of mutual interest with an emphasis on the trade and economic component.
In the context of developing humanitarian cooperation, in particular in the field of culture, the parties noted the great success of holding the Mexican Culture Festival in Minsk on September 10, which aroused genuine interest among Minsk residents and guests of the capital. Mutual interest in expanding cultural exchange events between the two countries was confirmed.
