Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus Maxim Ryzhenkov meets Nicaraguan Presidential Advisor for Investment, Trade and International Cooperation

On 2 October 2026, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, met the Advisor to the Co-Presidents of the Republic of Nicaragua on Investment, Trade and International Cooperation, Laureano Ortega. The meeting took place during the Nicaraguan delegation's visit to Belarus for the 2nd International Industrial Exhibition ‘INNOPROM. Belarus’.
The parties noted with satisfaction the high level of political dialogue and the positive dynamics of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Nicaragua.
The interlocutors exchanged views on a range of current issues on the bilateral agenda and outlined a schedule of events for the near term, including the next meeting of the Belarusian–Nicaraguan Joint Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation.
