Delegation of Belarus visits the Czech Republic

On October 5, 2016 in the framework of the International Engineering Fair “MSV 2016”, Brno hosted the Business day of the Republic of Belarus, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Czech Chamber for Commercial Relations with the CIS countries with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic.

Belarusian Delegation, consisted of the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Evgeny Shestakov, the First Deputy Minister of Industry, Gennady Svidersky, the Deputy Chairman of the Minsk City Executive Committee, Zhanna Birych, representatives of National Bank, National Center for Marketing and Price Study, Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, companies of the Holding «Automotive components», OJSC «Minsk motor plant», participated in the event. Business delegation of the Minsk Department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry also took part in the Business day.

Belarusian Delegation presented promising areas for development of bilateral cooperation, industrial capacity and investment conditions in our country.

Members of the Belarusian Delegation held a number of meetings with the Vice Chairman of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, Vojtech Filip, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, Jiri Koliba, and the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Martin Tlapa. During the meetings, the sides discussed all aspects of the bilateral Belarusian-Czech relations.

On the first day of the visit, the delegation became acquainted with the production capacity of enterprises «Škoda Transportation a.s.» and «Škoda Electric a.s.» that were interested to invest in Belarus and promote cooperation with our country in the field of electric transport.
