Videoconference meeting of Ambassador of Belarus A.Sidoruk with the Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform of Namibia

On June 18, 2021, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of South Africa and the Republic of Namibia concurrently Alexander Sidoruk held a videoconference with Minister of Agriculture, Water and Land Reform of Namibia Calle Schlettwein.
During the event, the interlocutors discussed the issues of cooperation between Belarus and Namibia in the field of agriculture, including the possibilities and modalities of supplies of Belarusian agricultural machinery and equipment within the framework of agricultural mechanization programs in Namibia. The Namibian side expressed interest in proposals for training students in Belarusian universities in agricultural specialties.
The Sides paid a special attention to the prospects of signing a memorandum of cooperation between the agricultural ministries of the two countries.
