Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus V.Makei meets the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua

On October 18, 2021 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada Colindres, who is visiting Belarus on an official visit.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of Belarusian-Nicaraguan cooperation, including interaction between the two countries within the international organizations. Special attention was paid to the prospects for strengthening bilateral trade and economic ties.

Following the meeting, the Foreign Ministers signed the Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Nicaragua on the Joint Economic and Trade Commission.
