Ambassador of Belarus E.Shestakov meets Director General for Political Affairs and Security of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation

On January 22, 2016 Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Italian Republic Evgeny Shestakov, concluding his diplomatic mission, met with the Director General for Political Affairs and Security of the Italian Ministry for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Luca Giansanti.

The parties discussed concrete issues of bilateral relations, Belarus – Italian initiatives and the agenda of the nearest contacts between the foreign offices of two countries.

The sides reached an agreement to continue close interaction between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the International Cooperation of Italy with the purpose of realization of plans outlined for the 2016 and implementation of a number of arrangements. Among them are those, reached during the Belarus Prime Minister’s Andrei Kobyakov visit to Italy in September 2015.

A topic of cooperation in the international scene and within the framework of international organizations was also touched.
