Consul General of Belarus T.Kharlap meets leadership of regional representative office of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China and Government of Hong Kong

On January 30, 2026, the Consul General of Belarus, Tatiana Kharlap, met with the leadership of the Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) and the Government of the HKSAR on the occasion of the completion of her diplomatic mission.

During the meeting with the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC in the HKSAR, Cui Jianchun, the sides reviewed the results of the development of bilateral cooperation since the opening of the Consulate General of Belarus in 2022.

They reaffirmed the all-weather nature of relations between the states and the readiness to implement previously planned projects.

Cui Jianchun emphasized the desire to strengthen business ties and the promising nature of cooperation between China's regions and Belarus, including at the "Great Stone" Industrial Park.

During the meeting with the Chief Secretary for Administration, Eric Chan, at the Government of the HKSAR, the sides confirmed their readiness to further deepen economic and humanitarian cooperation.
