On Cooperation Between Belarus and Interpol

Interpol Secretary General Ronald Noble highly appreciated cooperation of the international organization with Belarusian law enforcers.

“The national Interpol bureau in Belarus is one of the most active partners,” he said on Thursday.

Ronald Noble also informed, during Minsk meetings with top Belarusian law enforcers it was decided to allow the latter to access Interpol databases.

Ronald Noble informed, “all missing Belarusians are listed in the Interpol database”. He added, to promote closer cooperation Interpol has three new vacancies to offer to officers, who will seek absconders, missing persons, and fight organized crime.

Over more than ten years of cooperation between Belarus and Interpol over 200 criminals and more than 50 missing persons have been found abroad.

This May Belarus became the first CIS country to be elected in Interpol European Committee.
