Ambassador of Belarus A.Ogorodnikov takes part in the opening plenary session of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference

On October 30, 2025, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Alexander Ogorodnikov, as part of the Belarusian delegation, took part in the opening plenary session of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference, held in Samarkand (Uzbekistan).
During the event, A. Ogorodnikov had a brief conversation with President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as with Head of the Presidential Administration Saida Mirziyoyeva.
The interlocutors discussed a number of topical issues on the bilateral agenda and the holding of joint events.
Special attention was paid to increasing the mutual trade turnover between Belarus and Uzbekistan, with an emphasis on the supply of Belarusian food products.
