Consultations of Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the CSTO

On May 30, 2023 consultations of the Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) were held in Minsk.
The Belarusian delegation at the consultations was headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus,Yuri Ambrazevich.
During the consultations, issues of preparation for the meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states, scheduled to be held in Minsk on June 19-20, 2023, were considered.
Promising areas of cooperation within the CSTO were discussed, including the possibility of building up the analytical potential of the Organization and its member states. The sides exchanged views on further steps to develop the CSTO dialogue with other international organizations (UN, CIS, SCO) and individual countries. In addition, topical issues on the international agenda were discussed.
