On November 16, 2020 a meeting with the Charge d’Affaires of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Belarus, Marcin Wojciechowski, was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
The sides discussed issues of the interaction in the framework of the implementation of bilateral international treaty obligations in the field of combating organized crime, as well as the United Nations Convention against Transnational Organized Crime.
The Polish side received the note with a copy of the extradition requests for criminal prosecution by S.Putilo and R.Protasevich sent by the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Belarus to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland and the General Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Poland.
The Belarusian side expressed concern over the continuing criminal activities of S.Putilo and R.Protasevich through the extremist telegram channels ÍÅÕÒÀ and ÍÅÕÒÀ Live created by them.
The Polish side was called upon to extradite S.Putilo and R.Protasevich to the Republic of Belarus as soon as possible, taking into account the particular danger of their criminal activities for public safety.
