On September 5, 2017 the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Vladimir Makei, held a meeting with the Vice Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Mikheil Janelidze, on the occasion of the completion of his official visit to our country.
During the meeting, the sides summed up the results of the negotiations, discussed measures to enhance bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres. The parties also considered concrete steps to be taken on the implementation of joint projects that were discussed during the visit.
The parties once again confirmed the friendly nature of bilateral relations, their interest in its’ further development and expansion of the spectrum of interaction.
The Vice Prime Minister — Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia thanked the Belarusian side for hospitality and a very busy agenda of the visit, highly appreciated the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation following the results of the meetings and negotiations held in Minsk.
