On May 12, 2017 Minsk hosted consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Republic of Finland.
The Belarusian delegation was led by the Head of the Department of Europe of the Foreign Ministry, Evgeny Vorobyev, and the Head of the European Cooperation Department, Andrei Bushilo, the Finnish delegation was headed by the General Director of Department for Russia, Eastern Europe and Central Asia, Maimo Henriksson.
The parties discussed a wide range of bilateral issues of cooperation between Belarus and Finland in political, trade, economic and other spheres, development of relations between Belarus and the EU, participation of our country in the «Eastern Partnership» initiative, as well as issues of regional cooperation.
