Statement by Head of the Information Department ? Press Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrei Savinykh regarding the situation in Syria

Taking into consideration the serious deterioration of security situation in Syria the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises Belarusian citizens against visiting Syria before the situation comes back to normal.

Belarusian citizens staying in Syria are advised to leave the places of armed conflict and abstain from visiting areas where such conflicts could take place.

We sincerely hope that peace and order will be restored in the country.
