Statement by Foreign Ministers of Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization

Acting in the spirit of a common allied approach agreed upon in the framework of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and taking into account economic restrictions imposed by the EU member states against Belarus, the foreign ministers of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan reaffirm the inadmissibility of measures of economic pressure and coercion in interstate relations.

Such measures encroach upon legitimate interests of economic security, which is fraught with causing damage to mutually beneficial cooperation, development of integration processes in the Eurasian continent. Such measures undermine trust among partners and may ultimately impair regional stability and security.
 
The foreign ministers of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrghyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan are firmly convinced that only an equal dialogue will help resolve international disagreements. The foreign ministers stand for rejection of any actions that run contrary to the spirit and principles of good neighborliness and mutual respect.
