Consultations between foreign ministries of Belarus and Japan

Оn November 25, 2015 Minsk hosted consultations between Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Consultations were opened by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Valentin Rybakov.
The Belarusian side was headed by Head of Department of Asia, Australia and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Grinkevich, Japanese side – by Deputy Director-General, European Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Toshihiro Aiki.
During the meeting the parties discussed the further development of Belarusian-Japanese relations, including cooperation in different fields, the perspective areas of economic and trade cooperation. The sides exchanged views on the major international issues, interaction within international organizations and cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.
