Ambassador of Belarus N.Ovsyanko presents copies of the Сredentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador

On October 31, 2019 the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Ecuador, Nikolay Ovsyanko, presented copies of his Сredentials to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador, Ambassador Christian Espinosa Cañizares.

During the meeting, the side underlined mutual interest in the development of full-fledged cooperation in the political, economic and cultural fields, as well as in the field of tourism.

N.Ovsyanko put a special emphasis on the need for continuation of joint work to develop and diversify mutual trade, as he noted that rhe capacity of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries is not fully utilized and there are significant prospects for establishing cooperation in the field of engineering, geological exploration, mining, and information technologies.

The Belarusian diplomat favored of the need for continuation of the development of existing forms of cooperation, in particular, the joint Commission on trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Ecuador, which next session is expected to take place in Minsk.

In his turn, Ambassador Espinosa expressed his willingness to assist in the implementation of existing projects and exploring the opportunities to launch new ones .
