First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus A.Yeudachenka visits the Faculty of International Relations

On March 1, 2017 the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Andrei Yeudachenka, visited the Faculty of International Relations (FIR) of the Belarusian State University. The First Deputy Minister got acquainted with the material, technical and academic base of the Faculty, the existing opportunities to expand the variety of languages the Faculty offers its’ students to learn, including the rare ones. A.Yeudachenka also visited a museum exhibit.



First Deputy Minister delivered a lecture to the professors, students and post-graduates of the Faculty.

Special attention was paid to the issues of foreign trade, as well as to the cooperation with the CIS countries and the functioning of the Eurasian Economic Union.



During the lecture, the First Deputy Minister discussed with students of the Faculty of International Relations prospects for Belarus' accession to the World Trade Organization, cooperation with the European Union, the participation of Belarus in the EU “Eastern Partnership” initiative.

In the course of the meeting with the executive staff of the Faculty, the participants discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Faculty of International Relations.
