Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus E.Shestakov meets the Ambassador of Chile

On November 29, 2018 the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Evgeny Shestakov, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus non-resident, Rodrigo José Nieto Maturana. The meeting was also attended by the Honorary Consul of Chile in Belarus, Andrei Balabin.
The sides discussed state and prospects for the development of cooperation between Belarus and Chile on a wide range of issues, noted the necessity to intensify contacts between official and business circles of the two countries. Special attention was paid to the continuation of work on the creation of the legal basis of bilateral relations.
The parties expressed their intention to hold in the short term the next round of ministerial consultations on political issues in Minsk.
