On December 11, 2017 Minsk hosted Consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.
The Belarusian delegation was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Oleg Kravchenko, the Slovenian delegation was led by the State Secretary of the MFA, Andrej Logar.
During the consultations, the sides discussed major issues of political, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Belarus and Slovenia, as well as legal framework development and collaboration on the fields of international organizations. Special attention was paid to the issues of Belarus-EU dialogue and our country’s role within EU Eastern Partnership Initiative.
The Head of the Slovenian delegation was also received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, Vladimir Makei. The sides summarized their positions on the development of Belarus-Slovenia cooperation.
