On the III Session of Joint Belarus-Poland Committee on Economic Cooperation

On December 1-2, 2014 Warsaw (Poland) will host the III session of Joint Belarus-Poland Committee on Economic Cooperation and Belarus-Poland Investment Forum.

The Belarusian delegation is led by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Mr.Mikhail Rusy and includes Deputy Heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Industry, Ministry of Agriculture and Food, Ministry of Transport and Communication, Ministry of Energy, State Committee for Standardization, State Property Committee. The representatives of other state agencies and organizations as well as business circles will also join the delegation.

Within the negotiations the sides will discuss promising directions of extension of trade, economic and investment cooperation with Poland, as well as interaction in the sphere of transport, agriculture, energy, sports and tourism, and environment protection.

The parties will discuss cooperation in the sphere of standardization, energy efficiency, and removal of the barriers in the bilateral trade taking in to consideration the functioning of Customs Union and Single Economic Area.
